Emily Ratajkowski Blasts Magazine For Photoshopping Her Boobs [PHOTOS]
Emily Ratajkowski blasted French magazine Madame Figaro Friday for photoshopping the size of her breasts and lips for its recent issue.
“Everyone is uniquely beautiful in their own ways,” Ratajkowski wrote on Instagram. “We all have insecurities about the things that make us different from a typical ideal of beauty.” (RELATED: Emily Ratajkowski Clarifies: Big Boobs Hurt Me In Fashion Industry, Not Hollywood [PHOTOS])
The 26-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model shared the magazine cover with the original photo.
“I, like so many of us, try every day to work past those insecurities,” she continued. “I was extremely disappointed to see my lips and breasts altered in photoshop on this cover. I hope the fashion industry will finally learn to stop trying to stifle the things that make us unique and instead begin to celebrate individuality.”
As the model noted, there is a distinct difference in the size of her breasts and lips between the original photo and the cover.
The magazine shared a video clip from the photo shoot on its social media account.
Recently, Ratajkowski shared that her form has hurt her career in the fashion industry as she defended the size of her boobs.
“There’s this thing that happens to me: ‘Oh, she’s too sexy,'” Ratajkowski explained. “It’s like an anti-woman thing, that people don’t want to work with me because my boobs are too big.”
“What’s wrong with boobs?” she asked. “They’re a beautiful, feminine thing that needs to be celebrated. Like, who cares? They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?”
