A sneak peek of the upcoming film “Tomb Raider” was released Monday afternoon.
The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.”
Alicia Vikander is taking over as a Lara Croft, who was played by Angelina Jolie in the original films. She is joined in the cast by Hannah John-Kamen, Daniel Wu and Walton Goggins.
The sneak peak doesn’t give much away in terms of plot details, but it certainly looks intense and exciting.

The original films with Jolie were outstanding. I think it was the first time I ever had a crush on an actress I saw in a movie.
Nothing was more badass than Lara Croft running around blasting the bad guys on her adventures. Couldn’t get enough. Hopefully the reboot sticks to that spirit, and we get to watch Vikander crush some bad guys.
