I’d Give Anything For A New College Football Video Game

We desperately need another college football video game.

The last college football game was “NCAA Football 14,” which was released in the summer of 2013. Since then we haven’t had anything to wet the whistle when it comes to video games of college sports.

Production of the games stopped after multiple lawsuits concerning using players likeness without compensation. The athletes might have had a point, but they also successfully killed one of the coolest things about video games and sports.

It’s insanity that we have gone more than four years without a new game. I can’t tell you how many hours I spent playing those video games with my college roommates. We’d fire up the PS3, grab a few beers and compete against each other for hours. It would get heated at times.

We also had the weird habit of coming home from the bars drunk at two in the morning and randomly decide that playing “NCAA Football 14” until three in the morning was a good idea.

This is what we’re missing out on without a new game. I don’t care what it takes, we must get it done. Do it for America and football fans everywhere.
