Counterpoint: ‘One Tree Hill’ Might Have Had The Hottest Female Cast On TV
David Hookstead | Reporter
We have a full-blown, hottest women on television controversy on our hands, and now the show “One Tree Hill” has been dragged in.
Yesterday, I wrote a piece about how the popular CW show “Smallville” might have had the hottest female cast members in television history. I stand by what I said. The cast was at an elite level, but there was certainly some pushback.
Several people floated the idea that “One Tree Hill” might have actually had a more impressive roster than “Smallville.” The former hit show told the story about a group of friends in a fictional North Carolina town during it’s nine year television run.
I took some time to collect my thoughts and analyze the data, and eventually I determined that “One Tree Hill” certainly has an argument for the throne. Lets break down some of the top cast members.

Well, it looks like there is a lot of evidence to suggest I might have jumped the gun yesterday with my “Smallville” proclamation. I also am struggling here because I feel I’m biased given the fact I’ve seen several episodes from each show.
The basketball heavy story lines in “One Tree Hill” were solely written to garner the male audience, and it worked with a decent level of success for the CW network.
I’m just not sure I’m able to pick between the two. I need more time to think about it before I decide, but feel free to weigh in with your thoughts.
The only thing I am sure of is Sophia Bush in a red bow was one the greatest thing to ever happen on television.
