It’s Wednesday – and that means it’s time for my five gambling picks for the week.

We’re doing the gambling picks a day early this week. These usually come out on Thursday, but I made the decision to bump up my schedule. I’m a busy guy this week.

First off, I recognize the disaster that was last weekend. We went 1-4, which brings the three week total to 6-9. It’s not where I wanted to be, it’s not where you guys wanted to be, but stuff happens. One example of this: Florida throwing a 63 yard Hail Mary to win and cover the spread after I picked Tennessee. It was a brutal weekend.

However, this has just set us up for an incredible comeback story, and it starts this weekend when we go 5-0.

1) Alabama (-18.5) vs. Vanderbilt:

I picked the Tide to cover last week against Colorado State, and to my disappoint, they didn’t. Don’t worry, because they’re covering against Vanderbilt easily this week. Roll Tide roll!

2) TCU vs. Oklahoma State (-11):

The Cowboys rocked Pittsburgh this past weekend. TCU is no joke, but they looked slow at times against SMU. Expect Oklahoma State to come out firing.

3) Michigan (-10) vs. Purdue:

Some might think Michigan has come out slow this season, but I’m not buying the Purdue hype yet. The Wolverines are going to roll.

4) Penn State (-12.5) vs. Iowa:

Trace McSorley and PSU have looked like the best team in the country at times this year. Iowa isn’t that good, and is going to get destroyed.

5) Texas A&M (+2.5) vs. Arkansas:

This game is going to be electric for all the wrong reasons. The losing coach will probably get fired, neither team is any good, and Bret Bielema is my sworn enemy. Putting all of that aside, Texas A&M will win this game or keep it within two points. Take the Aggies and the points.
