Christie Brinkley’s daughter just became the first ever second generation model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Sailor Brinkley Cook appeared in the 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue with her mom and her older sister, but has now officially been selected as a rookie for the 2018 magazine.
SI Swimsuit announced the news on their website Thursday with a video of Sailor reacting to the news from her model mother. They also posted a video and photo to the SI Swimsuit Instagram account to reveal the exciting news to their fans.
Christie Brinkley is one of the most famous Sports Illustrated girls of all time and still looked incredible when she graced the pages of the 2017 issue at age 63. Now her 19-year-old daughter is going to carry on the family legacy.
If her special appearance in last year’s Swimsuit Issue was any indication, her career with Sports Illustrated could be just as legendary as her mom’s.
