Green Bay Packers wide receiver DaVante Adams took one of the scariest hits in recent football memory Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.
Adams caught the ball across the middle, and took a devastating shot to the head from Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan.
Adams’ head and neck rocked, and his whole body went limp.

Adams was taken to the hospital, but it appears like he will be okay.
McCarthy on Davante Adams: So far everything looks positive. Already giving them a hard time at the hospital to get out of there. Good sign.

I’ve watched a lot of football in my life, and that’s without a doubt one of the dirtiest hits I’ve ever seen. Adams is honestly lucky his neck didn’t snap.
We’ll now have to all wait and see how the NFL responds because the league can’t tolerate hits like that from happening during games.
