Britney Spears To Carry On With Vegas Shows In Wake Of Shooting
Britney Spears is returning to Las Vegas for her residency and she has a message for the city in healing.
The 35-year-old pop star announced her shows will still go on with a social media post on Thursday that included a photo from one of her recent shows in her adopted city.
“We’ll get through this together,” Spears wrote. “See you Wednesday.”
Several singers decided to either postpone or cancel their shows in Las Vegas following the shooting that took place at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday whereas others have carried on in hopes to help the city heal.

“Completely heartbroken over the news this morning,” Spears said in a tweet after hearing about the shooting at Mandalay Bay. “Keeping the victim’s of last night’s tragedy in Las Vegas in my prayers.”
Spears will return to her residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood on October 11, where she will perform through the end of the year.
