Matthew McConaughey might make the greatest commercials in the history of television.
We all know his body of work when it comes to movies and television is incredible . The first season of “True Detective” is one of the greatest works of television I’ve ever seen.
However, I’m starting to believe that he’s also creating the best commercials we’ve ever seen, and he should absolutely be getting more attention for this feat.
It all started a couple years ago with his Lincoln car commercials. Watching one of those was like watching a movie.
I found myself questioning everything about my reality after watching those commercials for more than a couple seconds. What world was I living in? What is important? What is even real? I thought to myself that the car commercials couldn’t be topped.
Well, I was very wrong because now he’s dropping hits with Wild Turkey. I don’t believe anybody who watches one of those commercials, and instantly doesn’t say they want to grab some whiskey and go back to a simpler time.
Like I said, these commercials are downright majestic. Maybe he should give up doing movies and just create the greatest commercials the universe has ever seen.
