The SEC finally made a little bit of noise in the latest AP college football poll.
There was some shakeup this week, but Alabama and Clemson still reign supreme in the new poll.
The top 10 teams are as follow:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Penn State
4. Georgia
5. Washington
6. TCU
7. Wisconsin
8. Washington State
9. Ohio State
10. Auburn
It’s about time the SEC finally made more than one appearance in the top 10. The conference has been rightfully ripped and shredded by the media through the first couple weeks. However, Georgia and Auburn are both doing their part to bring the conference some respect.
The Big Ten is still locked and loaded at the top, despite Michigan’s surprising loss to Michigan State on Saturday. Penn State is a legit title contender right now, and OSU and Wisconsin aren’t far behind in the picture. At least one of those teams is getting into the playoff, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them win it all.
