The UFC octagon girls wore special shirts at UFC 216 Saturday night to honor the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

More than 50 people were killed and another 500 hundred were wounded when Stephen Paddock opened fire at the Route 91 country music festivals.

The UFC has very strong ties to Las Vegas, and many events are hosted there, including UFC 216.

So, it made a lot of sense when the octagon girls wore “Vegas Strong” for the big night of fighting.

Thankful to be in such a strong city with such a supportive company @ufc #vegasstrong #ufc216 #homeoftheufc #lasvegas

It’s always great to see the sports world come together after tragedies. It’s a reminder that no matter how bad things get, people still find a way to come together and show support.
