The host of the 2013 Oscar Awards thought it was pretty funny to joke about women pretending to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.

Seth McFarlane, the creator of “Family Guy,” made the joke while introducing the nominees for best supporting actress.

“Congratulations! You five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein,” McFarlane said as the audience roared with laughter.

WATCH (starts at 3:20):

Not the greatest thing to say in hindsight, especially considering all the new revelations surrounding Weinstein’s alleged behavior towards women. I’m sure everybody shown in that camera shot wishes real bad today that they’d just have kept their mouths shut after McFarlane’s comment.

The comment is even more chilling given the fact there have been rumors about his behavior and actions for years.

Not only is he accused of exposing himself and harassing, but now he is also being accused of raping three different women. The Hollywood titan’s fall from grace has been incredible to see over the course of the past few days.

He has also been fired from his own company, and is essentially radioactive at this point. Even his old friend and close ally Hillary Clinton has disavowed him.

It’s a real bad time to have ever been in Weinstein’s corner.
