A California police officer staged a DUI traffic stop in order to propose to his girlfriend.
Deputy Kevin Bowes got his coworkers in on the gig, and it apparently went off without a hitch.

I can’t even begin to explain how insane this move is. I know people who have gotten arrested on DUI charges. Being told to get out of the car to take a sobriety test is not fun, even if you’re sober. Her heart must have been racing a million miles an hour.
I’m surprised she didn’t try to wrestle his taser away and give him a zap to the groin region. I’m all down for creative proposals, but this is just insane.
