Weinstein Accuser Claims Ben Affleck Knew Of His Behavior All Along

Affleck was one of many Hollywood stars to wait and issue a response to the Weinstein news, perhaps as to not jeopardize their future with the movie mogul. When Affleck finally condemned Weinstein’s actions Tuesday, Rose McGowan was quick to call him out, accusing the “Justice League” star of knowing what was happening all along.

McGowan has been tweeting about Weinstein ever since the report from The New York Times dropped last week, exposing the studio head for his decades-long sexual harassment of women in Hollywood. She didn’t hold back when Affleck finally spoke out.

“Ben Affleck f**k off,” she said in her first tweet.

She then tweeted out a screenshot of another tweet directed at the 45-year-old actor.

“@benaffleck ‘GODD**NIT! I TOLD HIM TO STOP DOING THAT’ you said that to my face. The press conf I was made to go to after assault. You lie,” she said, clearly suggesting Affleck knew what was going on.

McGowan is one of several actresses whose accounts with Weinstein were included in the report by The Times. She allegedly received a settlement from Weinstein after an incident in a hotel room at the Sundance Music Festival in 1997.
