San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich unloaded on President Donald Trump Monday, and the comments left no wiggle room for interpretation.

Popovich spoke with Dave Zirin of The Nation, and he is very upset with America’s sitting president.

The legendary basketball coach stated the following:

This man in the Oval Office is a soulless coward who thinks that he can only become large by belittling others. This has of course been a common practice of his, but to do it in this manner–and to lie about how previous Presidents responded to the deaths of soldiers–is as low as it gets. We have a pathological liar in the White House: unfit intellectually, emotionally, and psychologically to hold this office and the whole world knows it, especially those around him every day.

Well, it looks like anybody who was hoping politics would be kept out of the NBA will be very disappointed. Popovich’s comments might be the most anti-Trump comments we’ve ever heard from anybody in the sports world.

The Golden State Warriors already didn’t visit the White House after winning the 2017 NBA championship, but nobody on the team was calling him a “soulless coward.”

Stay tuned over the course of the next few months to find out how many more NBA players come out against the President.
