HalloweenCostumes.com might have had the dumbest idea of all time when it comes to Halloween costumes.

The company was selling an Anne Frank costume for $24.99, but decided to pull the costume after much outrage.

I rarely call for people to be fired. Way too often in our society people overreact over nothing and start demanding people lose their jobs. In this case, I absolutely think whoever approved this needs to be fired. Not only because what they did is extremely offensive, but because it shows a basic lack of intelligence.

Who honestly looked at this costume and thought it was a good idea? Deciding not to sell an Anne Frank costume is one of the easiest decisions you’ll ever have to make in your life. There’s no way enough people were ever going to buy this to make it a profitable endeavor.

Just stupid beyond belief.
