The 48-year-old actress, who won an Oscar for the Weinstein-produced “Chicago” in 2002, spoke at a Women in Hollywood lunch in Cannes, France on Monday where she condemned the former studio head and applauded the women who have taken a stand against him.

“I was shocked and disgusted,” Zeta-Jones said of the Weinstein allegations, adding that she was “profoundly proud” of the women who went on record to expose him.

“It’s hard to think that in 2017 we are still talking about this and that it’s the lead story on international news,” she continued. “You’re never too big to fall . . . I really believe that if this is not the tipping point, it’s at least some kind of turning point.”

“That big old dinosaur of people who think a man is able to get away with that behavior and has been getting away with it for years is extinct, as for now,” she added.
