Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant is not happy with the team, and now his girlfriend is sounding off.
Bryant’s girlfriend Deja Hiott posted a tweet, which has since been deleted, about how the Steelers brought their problems with Bryant upon themselves.

You know, when you love somebody whether it’s a friend, boyfriend, family, you are willing to go through hell and high waters for them. When you’re there Day by day while that person is at their most down times of their life and you see how hard they worked and how good of a heart that person has, it kills you inside to watch others try to tear them down. And sometimes it’s just your instinct to protect them like they protect you and sometimes it’s ok to slip up…we’re only human. We all make mistakes. I’ve said it a million times before, but apparently I need to say it again. Wives and girlfriend of athletes should never get involved in issues between their significant others and their teams. It is a recipe for disaster every single time.
Does the common sense rule in sports of praising in public and criticizing in private no longer get taught to anybody? If they have problem with what’s going on then bring it up behind closed doors. Don’t do it in front of the entire country.
This is day one stuff. It’s not hard to understand.
