Florida resident Christopher Combs jacked his dad’s police car to pull over his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend.

The AP reported the following:

Officials say the 22-year-old son of a Florida sheriff’s lieutenant took his father’s unmarked car and used it to pull over his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend.

Local news outlets report that Christopher Combs — who is a cadet in the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office where his father also works — used flashing red and blue lights to stop the vehicle Saturday night. He ordered the boyfriend to get out of the vehicle.

He was obviously fired from being a police cadet, and is also reportedly facing multiple charges.

However, this move might just be worth getting fired and arrested. This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard. It’s not just the fact he stole the police car to flag down his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. It’s the fact he then started relaying orders to the boyfriend to get out of the car.

It goes without saying that harassing anybody, especially your ex-girlfriend, is not acceptable. I’m not laughing at the harassment angle. Nobody finds that funny. I’m laughing at the lengths this guy went through.

Most people send really dumb texts to their ex or talk poorly about them to their friends over some drinks. You have to absolutely respect his commitment to the cause that he was willing to steal a police cruiser. That’s a man who just isn’t willing to let some things go.
