Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat had some sobering words for Lavar Ball and his son Lonzo.

Lonzo is currently in his rookie season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and his father’s vocal expectations for him continue to only grow wilder.

That’s not sitting well with Gortat, who recently discussed it on Twitter.

“He will kill his son one day,” the Poland-native tweeted in response to a tweet about the pressure Lavar puts on Lonzo.

I’m not a father, and I have no idea what the best way to raise a superstar athlete son is. I do know that it’s probably not easy for Lonzo to constantly have to hear about his father in the news cycle.

I can’t imagine the mental pressure that comes with having to live up to those ridiculous expectations attached to being an NBA superstar, especially by your own father. Hopefully it all works out for the best because nobody wants to watch a talented guy like Lonzo burn out of the league.
