Many of the allegations that have come out against Harvey Weinstein are hard to hear, but the account from his most recent accuser is the most horrifying to date.
A woman named Mimi recalled her encounter with Weinstein during a press conference in New York City alongside celebrity attorney Gloria Allred on Tuesday, and the details are downright disgusting.
Mimi met Weinstein on multiple occasions in the mid 2000s and explained that Weinstein’s sexual advances got increasingly worse with each meeting, TMZ reports. The encounter which she detailed is almost certainly the worst of the allegations to come out against the disgraced Hollywood executive.
The woman was escorted up to Weinstein’s loft apartment where he greeted her and not-long-after began making sexual advances on her.
“I told him ‘no, no, no,’ but he insisted. And then I said, ‘I’m on my period, there’s no way this is going to happen. Please stop.’ He wouldn’t take no for an answer,” she recalled, adding that he backed her into an unlit room.
“He held me down on the bed . . . I tried to get him off of me and kept asking him to stop, but it was impossible. He was extremely persistent and physically overpowering. He then orally forced himself on me while I was on my period. He even pulled my tampon out.”
“I was mortified. I was in disbelief and disgusted,” she said through tears. “I would not have wanted anyone to do that to me even if the person had been a romantic partner. I remember Harvey afterwards rolling over onto his back saying ‘Don’t you feel we are so much closer to each other now?'”
Mimi is just one of over 50 women who have come out against Weinstein with various accusations ranging from harassment to rape. Hers is easily one of the most gruesome allegations yet and, if true, proves that Weinstein is an absolute monster who belongs behind bars for the rest of his life.
