The North Carolina Tar Heels will be starting the season without Joel Berry because the senior point guard got a little overexcited while playing video games.

The school announced that Berry broke a bone in his hand on Monday and said he would be out for four weeks without revealing how the injury occurred, ESPN reports. On Wednesday UNC head coach Roy Williams told reporters that Berry broke his hand after losing a video game to forward Theo Pinson and a team manager.

Anyone who is familiar with Berry knows he hates losing, but you would hope to see some more restraint from your star player heading into his senior season. Plus, getting so angry that you result to punching a door after losing a video game is a really embarrassing way to injure yourself. You’re better than that, Joel.

Berry is already promising his fans a comeback, though.

“I’ll be back to give u the summary!,” he said in an Instagram post.

And the heels might be better off with him sitting on the sidelines to start the season so freshman guard Jalek Felton can get used to the pace of college play.

Hold on, Tar Heels, and get ready for Joel Berry’s comeback a few weeks from now.
