The ratings for Game 2 of the MLB World Series Wednesday night beat Game 1 by 8 percent, according to Deadline Thursday.
The Houston Astros came from behind to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers in 11 innings to tie the series at 1-1 and earn the club’s first World Series win ever.

Tuesday night’s Game 1, which the Dodgers won 3-1, drew 14.96 million viewers and scored a 3.9/15 rating among adults ages 18-49.
Wednesday night’s game was down by 3 percent over the second game of the 2016 World Series between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians, which had 17.4 million viewers and a 4.8/17 rating in the key demographic. It was the second highest-rated Game 2 since 2009, when the New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-1.
