Vogue Magazine Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour is not a fan President Donald Trump.

The usually reserved head of Vogue had a lot to tell James Corden during a recent interview.

She revealed that Donald Trump will never, ever be invited back to the Met Gala, which she oversees. Corden gave her the choice of eating pickled pig’s foot or answering that question.

“Anna, you famously host the celebrated Met Gala that takes place in Manhattan each year. Celebrities from all walks of life are desperate to get a ticket. Everyone from Beyoncé to George Clooney attends. So my question is: Who would you never invite back to the Met Gala?”

It’s so gleefully rehearsed that I almost don’t buy it.

Oh, that’s right. I don’t believe it. Because Anna Wintour is the queen of lying about the Met Gala guest list.

People forget this, now that Kim Kardashian is a megastar and her scandalous past has vaporized from culture’s memory, but back in 2012 the Kardashians were banned from the Met Gala. An insider told Radar Online that “Anna hates Kim. Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.” She also famously remarked that Kim would only be on the cover of Vogue over her dead body.

Two years later, Kim and Kanye not only attended the Met Gala but also graced the cover of Vogue. They’ve gone to every subsequent Gala ever since.

So keep talking Anna Wintour. Keep saying Donald and Melania will never go to your stupid little fashion party again. They may not go this year (kind of tough being President and all), but mark my words. They will be back. And when they do, Wintour’s street credibility will plummet even further.
