The latest batch of college football polls were released Sunday, and there has been a bit of a shakeup.
Formerly undefeated teams TCU and Penn State both went down Saturday. That means the polls are bit different.
The top 10 in the AP Poll are:
1) Alabama
2) Georgia
3) Ohio State
4) Wisconsin
5) Notre Dame
6) Clemson
7) Penn State
8) Oklahoma
9) Miami
10) TCU
The top 10 for the Coaches Poll are:
1) Alabama
2) Georgia
3) Ohio State
4) Wisconsin
5) Clemson
6) Miami
7) Penn State
8) Notre Dame
9) Oklahoma
10) Oklahoma State
It’s not surprising how this all shook out after TCU and PSU went down. The only point some people might find interesting is that Ohio State leapfrogged an undefeated Wisconsin team, but it shouldn’t be shocking.
OSU’s win against Penn State was incredibly impressive. It’s way more impressive than any win the Badgers have so far. It make sense from a rankings perspective. Plus, the Badgers will likely be playing OSU in the B1G title game. It will ultimately come down to who can win that game.
We’ll have to wait another week until we find out what teams will rise and who will fall.
