Fox Sports pundit Colin Cowherd treaded into some dangerous territory Wednesday afternoon.

Cowherd launched into a rant about how the Wisconsin Badgers might be undefeated, but they’re becoming the “fake ID” of college football. It’s a slur he’s thrown around before when referring to the Iowa Hawkeyes. At least when he referred to Iowa there was a bit of an argument to be made for their weak schedule.

Not sure Cowherd’s comments here are accurate. In fact, it’s borderline slanderous of my golden Wisconsin Badgers.

Don’t even bring that garbage towards my team. The past three seasons the Wisconsin Badgers have played LSU twice and Alabama in the offseason. BYU, who they dominated this year, was supposed to be good. It’s not the Badgers fault the Cougars suck.

Secondly, the Badgers don’t set their conference schedule. The conference officials do. That’s the entire idea behind conference games. Wisconsin might lose to Ohio State, or they might make the playoff. That has yet to be determined.

However, I know without a doubt that the Badgers aren’t the “fake ID” of college football.
