Lana De Rey recently decided to retire her famous song “Cola.”

The hit song is believed to be about in part disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, so it makes sense the superstar didn’t want to keep bringing it up.

“I thought it was funny at the time. I obviously find it really sad now, and I support the women who have come forward. I think they’re really brave for doing that…Obviously I don’t feel comfortable with it now, Del Rey explained to MTV about why she is retiring the famous song.

This one kind of seems like a no-brainer for Del Rey. It’s a bit mind-boggling why she even referenced it being “funny” at all. Her statement was overall very solid, but probably shouldn’t mention that you ever found the song funny.

You can’t have a superstar musician going out on stage and signing about an alleged serial predator. It seems like Del Rey without a doubt made the correct decision.
