A tweet from the Ohio State women’s water polo team directed towards football coach Urban Meyer is one of the most ridiculous things seen in sports in a long time.

The tweet, which was sent after OSU lost to Iowa, reads, “OSU scarlet beats Wisconsin 20-2. At least one Ohio state team knows how to win. @OSUCoachMeyer.”

This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. Ohio State’s football team is a money making machine for the university, and they’re now being taunted by the women’s water polo team. It’s so disrespectful that I’m honestly struggling to find the words to describe this situation.

Is the person who sent that tweet so stupid that they don’t know the football team funds pretty much every other sport? That’s how college athletics work. Football and basketball bring in the money. Everybody else is a leach on the system.

Urban Meyer should march his team over to the pool, and proceed to torch the place to the ground. You simply can’t tolerate an inferior sports program coming at your throat in this manner.

Meyer should refuse to coach a game until the entire women’s water polo team is disbanded and expelled. Send a message of pure alpha strength.
