We’re only a couple days from a weekend of football, and that means it’s time to break down the best game to watch: Georgia vs. Auburn.

This game is going to be really good for a couple reasons, mostly because it has major playoff implications. Some SEC fanboys have a dream of getting two teams into the playoff. That is certainly not happening if Georgia loses this game. (I don’t think it’s happening, regardless.)

The shocking part here is that Georgia is the top team in the college football rankings, but only a 2.5 point favorite entering this game on the road. It’s also interesting to point out the fact that Georgia’s odds of making the playoff are right around 16 percent if they lose this game.

Now, to the game itself. Georgia’s running back Nick Chubb and the Bulldogs’ defense have both been outstanding this season. However, Auburn is playing really well right now, and quarterback Jarrett Stidham is operating at an impressive level.

I have no idea who will win this game, but I always lean toward the team with a more talented quarterback. What I do know for sure is that a loss from Georgia will kill the pipe dream of two SEC playoff teams.

Tune in Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST to find out how this one will shake out.
