The six game suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is back on after a court refused to halt it Tuesday.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the following, “Injunction denied: Ezekiel Elliott’s 6-game suspension is back on.”

Schefter also reported that he will be eligible to return December 24 against the Seattle Seahawks.

This drama with Elliott’s six game suspension for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson seems like it’s a never ending affair. The suspension has been on and off ever since the start of the season.

Schefter seems pretty confident this is the end of the road for the electric running back, but the least surprising news in the world would be if another court stepped in.

Dallas is currently 5-3, and will have to fight for the playoffs without Elliott. Only time will tell if Dak Prescott and company are good enough to get it done without the superstar running back.
