A new trailer for the upcoming film “The Shape of Water” was released Tuesday night.

The plot of the film, according to IMDB, “An other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.”

Lauren Lee Smith, Michael Stuhlbarg and Michael Shannon all star in the movie.

The trailer is one of the weirdest and most interesting things you’ll when it comes to movies. It’s really easy to make things interesting with the backdrop of the Cold War. Add in a fantasy element, and it doesn’t take much more for things to hook the audience.

I don’t know about you guys, but this one looks like it’ll be worth the price of admission.

“The Shape of Water” will be released December 8.
