Jon Gruden is all the rage right now to take the open Tennessee job, but a quote from August makes it appear he has next to no interest due to college rules.
“If I became a college coach I would probably have you on probation w/in 4 or 5 weeks. Too many rules, man. I mean I like to work. The recruiting … all that stuff. Yeah, I’d probably have you in real deep, deep trouble if I was your college coach,” Gruden said, according to college football reporter Brett McMurphy.

I don’t know about you guys, but that quote just makes me want Gruden on a college sideline even more. “Grumors” season is already in full swing, and knowing he’s totally open about possible corruption is the extra fuel we need to make sure he gets hired.
Prepare for the college football world to explode if Tennessee actually goes through and pulls the trigger. It’ll be incredible.
