Rumors that surfaced over the weekend regarding “Wonder Woman 2” star Gal Gadot appear to be false.

According to a Deadline report Monday, those internet speculations — which claimed Gadot had jumped the Wonder Woman ship pending the removal of producer Brett Ratner — are incorrect for two reasons. Number one, the 32-year-old Israeli actress and model is already locked in to star in the upcoming film, and there haven’t been any “sour talks” between her and Warner Bros. regarding Ratner. (RELATED: PHOTOS: Gal Gadot Rocks Cropped Top As GQ Names Her ‘Woman Of The Year’)

Number two, Ratner’s production company RatPac-Dune isn’t signed on to finance “Wonder Woman 2.” Additionally, his name isn’t mentioned as a producer on the first film. His production company was only a “passive financier.”

The original comments came following numerous sexual harassment accusations against the Hollywood producer over recent weeks, including from actresses Ellen Page and Olivia Munn.

An unnamed source  told Page Six Saturday, that Gadot allegedly said that Warner Brothers would have to cut its ties to Ratner if they wanted her back for the next movie in the DC franchise.

“She’s tough and stands by her principles,” a source explained to the outlet. “She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet. She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.”

Warner Bros. recently announced that the release date for the highly anticipated next installment in the superhero film series was moved from December 13, 2019 to November 1, 2019.
