The ratings for the NFL “Sunday Night Football” rose by 20 percent in early numbers over last week’s near season low, according to Deadline.

The New England Patriots handily beating the Denver Broncos Sunday night didn’t appear to affect the viewership for the struggling National Football League. (RELATED: NFL Ratings Tank — Worst Viewership In Nearly Two Decades)

Last night’s week 10 game on NBC scored an 11.5/19 in metered market results. In comparison, the week 9 game, which saw the Oakland Raiders beat the Miami Dolphins 27-24, went on to earn a 4.9/17 among adults ages 18-49 with 16.36 million viewers.

The last time the Patriots played on Sunday night football on October 22, 2017 in a foggy game against the Atlanta Falcons, the ratings were up as well. Despite the near blow-out by the Patriots, the foggy battle that night scored NBC a 12.6/21 in metered market results. That was up over the week prior by 16 percent.

However, when compared to the game last year in week 10 on “SNF” between the Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, Sunday night’s ratings were down by 20 percent in metered market numbers. That game had 22.5 million viewers.
