Tom Sizemore was removed from the set of “Born killers” in 2003 after allegedly fondling an 11-year-old actress on set, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The alleged incident had never been publicly revealed until Monday when THR published a piece after speaking with a dozen cast and crew members with knowledge of the encounter.

Sizemore played the young actresses father in the film and allegedly “rubbed his finger against the girl’s vagina or inserted it inside,” during a portrait photo shoot for film promotion in which the girl was seated on his lap, according to THR’s report.

Robyn Adamson, who played Sizemore’s wife in the movie, noticed something off with the young girl at the time and now believes she knows exactly what happened and when.

“At one point her eyes got just huge, like she could’ve vomited,” Adamson told THR. “I was watching her. She soon reintegrated and kept going, although she had trouble taking direction. Later, when I was told about what happened, I knew exactly what it was.”

Sizemore, best known for his roles in “Saving Private Ryan” and “Black Hawk Down,” was immediately removed from the set after knowledge of the alleged sexual assault spread around. However, due to inconclusive evidence of the alleged incident and the families decision not to press charges, Sizemore later returned to reshoot the movie months afterwards.

“We had a fiduciary responsibility to complete the film so we decided to go about business as usual — lacking the evidence of what happened that day,” Gus Spoliansky, who was one of the producers, told THR. “We took the allegation extremely seriously and we were willing to do anything, including dismissing Tom. We just couldn’t be police, judge and jury.”

Sizemore faced significant legal trouble before the alleged incident in 2003, including charges of drug use and battery against women. While he has not faced any previous accusations of molestation, that may be subject to change now.

The former actress, who is now 26 years old, has hired a lawyer to look into her options fifteen years after the alleged incident. Sizemore’s agent declined to address the allegations, telling THR “Our position is ‘no comment.'”
