Jim Harbaugh might not be the Michigan Wolverines football coach for long if some in the NFL have their way.

Jay Glazer reported during an appearance on FOX Sunday that there are several people in the NFL who will make a run at Harbaugh after he lost for the third consecutive year to Ohio State.

Most people might not agree with this assessment, but if Harbaugh wants to get back to the NFL then now is the time to do it. He has never finished higher than third in the Big Ten East. He also hasn’t come close to sniffing a national title during his time at Michigan.

Of course, he might turn it all around and somehow find a way to be better than the fourth or fifth best team in the Big Ten. However, the longer he fails to do so the less valuable he’ll become to NFL pursuers.

There’s also the chance that Harbaugh is happy at Michigan, and he might have zero desire to return to the NFL. The point still stands for Glazer’s report. Now is the time to get out if he ever intends to do so.
