When I woke up this morning, I saw that a “UPS” was on sale for Cyber Monday. Perhaps because I am not very smart, I thought that meant the United Parcel Service was going bankrupt. I was wrong. A “UPS” is an “Uninterruptible Power Supply,” apparently. What does that mean? Put it this way: “When the power goes out, an APC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) provides guaranteed power for computers, hard-drives and other electronics, including your wireless router so you can maintain a network connection when you need it most!”

Now you know what it means that this UPS is on sale, today only. It’s not just any old UPS either – it is the #1 most popular.

CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System, 1500VA/900W, 10 Outlets, AVR, Mini-Tower on sale for $119.95

It’s not wrong to consider this a giant surge protector though. Like a surge protector, it consists of 10 outlets; it just so happens that six of them work even when the power is out. Furthermore, it contains two USB charging ports that also work during power outages. I like this thing.
