Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett is probable to play in the Big Ten championship, according to head coach Urban Meyer.

Barrett hurt his knee Saturday against Michigan, but he’s still going to give it a shot against Wisconsin.

Lots of people who hate OSU or support Wisconsin probably hoped Barrett wouldn’t play. On paper it would make the game a lot easier for the Badgers. I want Barrett on the field when he lines up against my school. If you want to be the best, then you better beat the best. Wisconsin isn’t losing this game no matter who gets under center for OSU.

The last thing I need is to hear nonstop excuses from Buckeyes fans about how if Barrett had played the game would have been different. Put him on the field, put Wisconsin on the field and let’s find out who is better.

There won’t be any excuses from OSU when they lose this game now that he’s going to play. It should just be pure silence.
