Alabama and SEC fanboys need to cool it with the garbage that Alabama is in the college football playoff no matter what happens this weekend.

I don’t know what these fans are smoking, but it can’t possibly be legal. Listen to me very carefully. There is absolutely no way Alabama is making the playoff without some serious help. It’s not going to happen.

The Crimson Tide and their 11-1 record against a weak schedule aren’t getting in over Oklahoma, the ACC winner or the Big 10 champion. Feel free to play around with the odds machine if you don’t believe me. There is no scenario outside of TCU upsetting Oklahoma where Alabama is above 50 percent

I really hate having to play the role of the guy who brings everybody in Alabama back to the reality, but it needs to be done. Their only hope is TCU losing. That is it. There is no other scenario, and you’re beyond saving if you think there’s any other way.

Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Clemson will all have better records and will be conference champs if they win this weekend. Ohio State will have just as many wins and be a conference champion. The same can be said for Miami. What is the counterargument here? There simply isn’t one.

Selection Sunday is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to hear all the arguments for how Alabama got screwed based on pure emotions — void of any facts. Football fandom at its finest.
