Tennessee fans broke out into a loud “Fire Currie” chant during WWE Monday Night Raw in Knoxville.
Sports Illustrated posted a video of the event, and there’s zero doubt what fans are saying. The crowd was overwhelming as they raised their voices in support of kicking Volunteers athletic director John Currie to the curb.

Fans have every right to want Currie fired, and I’d be chanting right there with them if I was a Tennessee fan.
The embattled athletic director embarrassed the hell out of the football program when his attempt to hire Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano blew up in his face. Fans absolutely revolted on social media and held protests on campus. The university quickly backed out of hiring Schiano.
Currie now can’t seem to find a coach, and there don’t appear many that want to jump aboard his sinking ship. Don’t be surprised if Currie finds himself out of a job sooner rather than later.
