Tennessee is interested in Washington State football coach Mike Leach, but is concerned by the fact he sued his former employer Texas Tech.
On Monday, Fox Sports reporter Bruce Feldman tweeted, “Am told #Tennessee AD John Currie’s intrigued with Mike Leach but the WAZZU coach having sued his old employer is a tough one for him & the #Vols to get past.”

Leach unsuccessfully sued Texas Tech after he was fired over money he felt he was still owed.
This is one of the dumbest excuses for not hiring Leach I’ve ever heard. He’s a natural winner, he is a high energy guy and he gives the greatest interviews I’ve ever seen. Tennessee is imploding and they’re worried about Leach suing over what he felt was an unfair firing?
Give me a break. The Tennessee administration deserves to be fired if this is the actual reason they won’t hire Leach.
