Jennifer Lopez seems to think she knows a thing or two about baseball.
The megastar posted an Instagram photo of her boyfriend and former Yankees All-Star Alex Rodriguez urging his former employer to take a second pass at him — this time to be the team’s manager.
She captioned the photo in part, “It couldn’t be clearer…#arodforyankeesmanager
@arod @yankees @mlb…The Best and Only Choice for Yankess Manager is obvious.”
Now JLo might be a little biased because she’s A-Rod’s girlfriend and all, but there have been some calls to interview A-Rod for the job. Former MLB star Carlos Beltran called for A-Rod’s consideration, along with longtime teammate CC Sabathia.
Chances are slim that the Yankees will give A-Rod another look though. He’s been busted for using performance enhancing drugs, put his Hall Of Fame status in jeopardy, and retired early in 2016.
Only time will tell if the Yankees follow her advice and pull the trigger.
