Now that Matt Lauer has been fired from NBC for sexual harassment, some of his interviewing antics seem more than questionable and his 2009 interview with Sandra Bullock is a prime example.

Bullock joined the “Today” show to promote “The Proposal” back when the movie hit theaters eight years ago and all Lauer wanted to talk about was the actresses nude scene in the romantic comedy.

“It’s been two years since you’ve been here,” Lauer began. “The major thing that’s changed since you were here last: I have seen you naked,” Lauer told Bullock with a laugh. “I have seen you naked.”

“And I’m so sorry about that. Were you able to sleep afterwards,” Bullock responded.

“It’s now my screensaver,” Lauer joked, trying to keep it together. “You’re naked for most of this movie,” he added.

“Didn’t you tell me one time you were never going to do that?,” Lauer asked. “Was it all right? Was it hard to do?,” he continued prying for details on the nude seen.

Of course, anybody who watched “The Proposal” saw Bullock naked, but Lauer just couldn’t let it go. At the time it probably seemed like nothing more than an awkward interview, but now it’s likely raising a few more eyebrows.
