The news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement was announced a few weeks ago, and now their official engagement photos have finally been released.
Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry and his future wife chose to share their engagement photos on social media on Thursday along with a message on behalf of the future royal couple. (SLIDESHOW: 18 Times Meghan Markle Already Looked Like Royalty)

“Thank you for all of the wonderful comments following the release of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle’s engagement photographs,” the message read. “The couple are so grateful for the warm and generous messages they have received during such a happy time in their lives.”

Kensington Palace also noted that the couple chose to release one candid photograph along with the official photos as a way to say thank you for all of the kind messages they’ve received.
The photographs were taken by Alexi Lubomirski at the Frogmore House in Windsor where the couple will be married on May 19, 2017.
“It was an incredible honor to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another,” the photographer said, according to a statement from the palace. “I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”
