UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen on Tuesday appeared to indicate that he really doesn’t want to play for the Cleveland Browns.

There has already been substantial speculation that Rosen might stay in school instead of suiting up for the Browns.

Well, he appeared to confirm some of the speculation when he told the media, “I’d rather be a lower pick at the right team than a higher at the wrong team,” according to ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss.

I’ll go ahead and decode this one for all of you. That pretty much directly translates to he wants nothing to do with a garbage team such as Cleveland, and he would much rather prefer to fall in the draft.

The only problem for him is that Cleveland is already locked in for the top pick, so there’s plenty of evidence to suggest he’ll give staying in school a very hard look. How could you even blame him? Cleveland is an absolute disaster and disgrace to football right now. I wouldn’t want to play there either, especially as a quarterback.
