The Wisconsin Badgers football season is officially in the books after dominating Miami in the Orange Bowl Saturday night.

We finished an impressive 13-1 and won a bowl game with an $18 million payday. I know winning 13 games and making millions is what most fans dream of — don’t get me wrong. I’m proud of what we did on the field, but it only made me believe even more that we should be playing for national titles.

Yep, we’ve got fullbacks at Wisconsin. Yep, they hurdle dudes.

Yes, winning 13 games in one season is a hell of an accomplishment. There’s no doubt about it. No other team in the Big Ten accomplished that this season, and only three other Power Five teams even have the opportunity.

That doesn’t mean I’m satisfied. Only a fool is satisfied with making $50 million if there is another $50 million on the table. A real Wisconsin man is never satisfied until he’s reached the top of the mountain. Everything else is just part of the journey.

I’m happy with what my team did, but we’re coming for nothing less than a national title next year.

Mark my words when I say that the Wisconsin Badgers are going to make some serious noise next season.
