There appears to be a massive problem with former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry’s Twitter following.

McHenry, who infamously berated a tow truck company clerk, has talked about how her following blew up after being laid off by ESPN because she is “honest” and keeps it “real.” She has become extremely vocal about conservative politics ever since leaving ESPN.

Well, a simple search on Twitter Audit revealed that 92 percent of her following appears to be fake accounts. That sure seems like a far cry from having half a million followers because people love her honesty and realness.

McHenry was laid off last April, and I received the news while airborne over the ocean. You can read a rundown of what happened here.

Stay tuned because I have a strong feeling that this situation is about to get a lot crazier.
