Jennifer Lawrence admitted that she has become a “huge asshole” to avoid fan interactions in public in an upcoming interview on PBS.
“Once I enter a public place I become incredibly rude,” the 27-year-old actress shared in a clip posted on Twitter Tuesday from her appearance alongside comedian Adam Sandler on the seventh season of “Variety Studio’s Actors on Actors” series. “I turn into a huge asshole,” the “Hunger Games” star added. “And that’s kind of my only way of defending myself. Is just being an asshole. I see somebody walking towards my table and I just go (as she shakes her finger no at the person).”
“Or (fans) ask ‘Can I have a selfie?’ And I’m like no,” she continued. “That’s like my only defense.”
