Turns Out Picking Oklahoma To Win The Championship Was A Mistake

Well, my national championship pick got busted a few hours into the college football playoff after Oklahoma fell to Georgia.

I wish I could be more upset at what happened. Oklahoma falling in the semi-finals should bother me more after I picked them to win the whole thing, but it honestly doesn’t.

#Sooners fall to Georgia 54-48 in double OT in the Rose Bowl.

Is it disappointing? Sure, but that was one hell of a fun game to watch. How can I be upset at a Rose Bowl that goes into double overtime? I wish we could just constantly have games this good.

Forget blowout wins in the playoff. Give me overtimes and teams grinding it out.

I’m sorry to everybody who took my advice and took Oklahoma. They looked like a championship team for large portions of the game, but their defense just couldn’t hold on.

The Sooners were honestly the team I thought would walk away with the championship, and they didn’t. I was wrong, but I’m still glad the game played out to be incredible.

There’s always next year for me to get my predictions right.
