The Big Ten basketball season is finally underway.
Teams previously played a pair of conference games to start December, but then went back to the non-conference play.
Well, those days are over, and it’s now time for big boy basketball. Nothing beats Big Ten ball. It’s not so much about actual talent as it is about big boys in the paint, fundamentals, three point shots, ball rotation, solid screens, half court offenses and the best defense you’ve ever seen.
That’s what Big Ten basketball is all about.
You know what the two sexiest plays in college basketball are? Taking a hard charge in the paint and a block coming from the defensive weak side. You know where you can find plenty of both? In the Big Ten.
It might be a down year for the Big Ten, but it’s still going to be a ton of great basketball.
